MURRAY DOWNS

Murray Downs will be hosting a bowls match against Barham tomorrow, with the game to start at 1pm.

This will hopefully be an annual event with Murray Downs travelling to Barham in 2022.

Names on notice board or to the bowls office by 10am Saturday.

Uniform to be worn and a BBQ will follow on completion.Social Bowls on Tuesday was well attended once again.

The winners were – Teresa Furnell, Noel Delmenico and Cath Parry.

TOOLEYBUC

A good crowd turned up for a practice day at Tooleybuc last week, with everyone appearing to enjoy themselves.

As expected, there were some shots a little off but there were also some very good shots.

With only another week until pennant commences, another practice day will be held tomorrow, Saturday, 30th October commencing at 1.00 pm.

To make it easier to organise the day, please be there on time.

Some matches for the Club championships will also be played.

LAKE BOGA

On Wednesday, 27th of October we all had a great practice day, it won’t be long now when we will be able to start pennant and competition bowls.

Wednesday social bowls next week on the 3rd of November will start in the morning, with names in by 9.00am to start play at 9.30am with all welcome.

On duty for Wednesday, 3rd of November will be Jill Pye.

Cleaning roster for the 4th of November is Nola and Richard Bruton, Robyn Jolly and Ray Leach.Saturday, 30th of October will be a practice day as normal, names in by 12.30pm to play at 1.00pm.

There will be a practice match at Kerang Golf Bowls on Sunday, 31st of October, if you wanting to play, please phone Rod Wickham on 0447382007 or Ken Hamill on 0408591256.

Tuesday 2nd of November will be our CUP DAY LUNCHEON, all are welcome, please phone Janet Hamill on 0407508184 for numbers.

There will be a Barbecue lunch, $10.00 per person and please bring a salad.

There will be some fun games of bowls, best dressed male and female of the day – so come along and have a great day.

Barefoot bowls will start on Thursday, 4th of November, please come along with your teams or single entries.

Come along by 7.00pm to play at 7.30pm or Phone Nola 0427372484 – remember, this is the best fun night of bowls.

SWAN HILL

Our fun Friday Frolic will be on again today, the Jackpot is creeping up.

Tomorrow, Saturday practice will be on again for those that can be there – names on the sheet tonight for a 1pm start tomorrow.

Saturday Pennant will commence Saturday 6th November and Midweek Pennant will begin on 9th November, all being well.

Due to the uncertainty of recent times, we have not planned a Cup Day event this year.

Remember all COVID practises apply and Double Vaccination must be adhered to.
