TOOLEYBUC

Bowls resumed this week for the Midweek Pennant side who travelled to Lake Boga and played in what were trying conditions, after a slight delay due to the rain and an early thunderstorm in the morning, the games commenced.

Despite going down by four shots overall, both rinks played well in the slight windy conditions, however due to the majority of other matches in the division not being played because of the weather, all teams shared the points in this round.

Next week the Midweek team play against Murray Downs 3 at Tooleybuc.

The Champion of Champions was played last week and we congratulate Aaron Adams on his good bowling against the overall winner Josh Thornton, who was a little too strong on the day.

Unfortunately in the ladies’ Dannielle Adams had to forfeit her match, we wish Kessada Smith all the best bowling as she takes part in the novice singles this weekend.

Saturday sees the return of the Weekend Pennant, where Tooleybuc will play against Swan Hill at Tooleybuc in Division 2, let’s hope everyone is refreshed after the break and we play well enough to win the points.

The Division 4 team have a bye this week.
