RACECOURSE
ON Sunday, June 19, our club had our Tasco Triples, with a great entry of 20 teams.
Players from Sea Lake, Kerang, Lake Boga, Nyah, Moulamein, Swan Hill and Murray Downs attended, together with our own club members.
In the end, there were five teams on three wins, with the team of Allan Marshman, Graeme Clark (Swan Hill) and Max Renney finishing as winners with a very good score of 83 points. The team of Darryl Barry, Noel Delmenico (Murray Downs) and Danny Kelly (Geelong) finished second with 78 points.
Tonight, we have our Friday night tea and double members’ draw and raffles, as well as our nearest the pin footy tipping competition on the Western Bulldogs versus Hawthorn game.
The club has a bowls’ meeting on Monday, June 27 at 10am, with the meeting to select the bowls’ club president, selectors, match committee and social committee. There is also a need for the members to give the club support for our synthetic green and shed.
The club will supply morning tea after the meeting.
