SWAN HILL

WEDNESDAY Social Bowls has been rather quiet this month, with the icy winds keeping people away. We welcome all to our club for social events, including members, visitors and anyone wishing to try out bowls. Wednesday social bowls starts at 1pm, with names to be in by 12.30pm. If there’s not enough to play competition, you can still enjoy a few ends of practice. The recent winners have been Vic Plumridge, Kess Smith and Russell Fields.

Friday Frolics is one hour of bowls that is still enjoyed by quite a few, with visitors from time to time taking part. Fridays begin at 3pm, with names needing to be in by 2.30pm. Hang around afterwards to enjoy some social activities in the clubrooms afterwards.

Congratulations to Bill King, a dedicated club member for over 40 years on his recent 90th birthday. Bill celebrated this special milestone with family and friends at the Swan Hill Bowls Club.
