CONGRATULATIONS to Kylie Gardner, Mikaela Evans, Helen Frame (Racecourse) and Alannah Taylor (Manangatang), who comprised the most successful rink in the Regional Round Robin that was played at Murray Downs on Sunday.

Good luck to Norm Smith this Sunday, when he plays in the finals of the 60 & Over Men’s Singles at Murray Downs.

Jackpot bowls has moved to Wednesday mornings to accommodate the summer weather, with names to be in by 9am for a 9.30am start.

On Wednesday, January 18, the jackpot bowls winners were Graeme Bennett, Shane Domaille and Max Renney with two wins and +17 shots, while the runners-up, with one win and +16 shots, were Bruce Horsburgh and Bob McIntosh.

Night bowls commences again on Wednesday, January 25, starting at 7pm, with names to be in by 6.45pm. On Australia Day, Thursday, January 26, we have the Peter and Mary Hooper Any Combo Triples. Games will start at 1pm, with names in by 11am.

Also please note, Friday, January 27 is our “Last Friday of the Month” tea – Sharon needs numbers, so if you are coming, please put your name on the board before January 23.
