Bowls Notes – Murray Downs

SOCIAL bowls was well attended last Thursday, with 28 members taking part.

Winners were Neil Brown, Keith Burrage and Phil Parry. Runners-up were Garry McCaig, Rod Dewhurst and Cath Parry.

There will be a barbecue on Saturday, February 4 following bowls. Come along and bring the family for another great social evening. Please put your name on the list on the notice board for catering purposes.

Barefoot Bowls begins on February 7 at 7pm. If you are intending to play, contact Garry McCaig on 0413 188 261 to enter your team.

A reminder of our President’s Day Mixed Combination Triples Tournament on Sunday, February 12, commencing at 12.30pm. Entries to Dawne Holland on 0402 020 996 or Carl Fox on 0429 855 260. Entries close 5pm Friday, February 10.

The draws for Club Championship matches are on the notice board. Please ensure you arrange to play your matches as soon as possible.
