SWAN HILL

Swan Hill Bowls Club’s usual Friday activities will be on again, with those wishing to play asked to make sure you either arrive or ring before 2.30pm.

The jackpot has passed $100 and the better the support, the quicker it rises.

We welcome all who are keen to enjoy a short game of bowls and socialise in the club for the afternoon, especially with the sun shining this week.

Four teams from our club played at the Racecourse bowls club, Renney Family tournament last Sunday, with two of our teams scooping the pool.

Vic Plumridge, Diane Millsteed and Damien McBeath won the day, while Alan Marshman, Graeme Clark and Bill King claimed second prize.

Swan Hill Bowls Club has a fresh look inside, having been painted after ceiling repairs earlier this year, while the front veranda has been upgraded to a more user friendly and safer area.

Thanks to everyone who assisted in both of these upgrades.

Bowlers, please keep an eye on the notice board in the club house for updates on what is taking place around the club and for changes to some of the bowls rules.
