A CONTINUING run of good weather for winter bowls had 47 players competing for pelican jackpot bowls, which stood at $275.
The jackpot failed to be claimed, but the winners on the day were Arthur Treadgold, Lyndal Taylor and Graham Bennett, all from Racecourse, while the runners-up were Brian Quaiffe from City, Les Grey and Greg Davis from Lake Boga.
The jackpot this week will be $339. New players are most welcome and names need to be in by noon, for a 12.30pm start.
Social bowls this week for our Christmas in July afternoon tea had 20 players enjoying the festivities – a big thank you to everyone who participated in a very social afternoon.
A reminder that subs are now due and payable to Max Lord the club treasurer.
