In the men’s event, Buck Lehmann and Matt O’Bree (Murray Downs) won their section, winning all three games.

Norm Smith and Glenn McKissack (Racecourse) won their group with two wins and a draw.

In the third section, Peter Brook and Chris Power (Murray Downs) were successful. Brook and Power won one and lost one match in a section of three, and went through on a countback ahead of the other two pairs.

The men’s State Pairs semi-final will start at 9.30am at Murray Downs on Sunday, with Buck Lehmann and Matt O’Bree to play Norm Smith and Glenn McKissack, and Peter Brook and Chris Power awaiting the winners in the final.
