Next Tuesday Swan Hill 1 plays at home and will be challenged by Racecourse 1.

The score stands at one game each for the season.

The Division 2 side made an early start, travelling to Manangatang.

L. Tompsett, R. Poole, S. Tompsett and D. McBeath’s rink finished six shots up, only to be counteracted by a loss of six shots on E. Grey’s rink, resulting in a drawn game and sharing the points.

The twos will face off against Murray Downs 3, also at home on Tuesday.

Both games were completed without interruption from the threatening storms.

January 19, Saturday pennant will recommence, with all three Swan Hill teams playing on their home greens.

Division 1 play Racecourse 1, a hard team to beat.

Division 2 meet ladder-leaders Murray Downs 2 and our Division 4 side come up against Lake Boga 3.

Best of luck to all bowlers for the remainder of the season.

Enter by 2.30pm for a 3pm start.

The jackpot has been steadily rising, giving all who play bowls a chance of taking the spoils home.

Happy-hour drinks, a light snack and trying your luck for the raffle prizes are all part of the friendly atmosphere in the club after the game.
