SWAN HILL

GO along to Swan Hill Bowls Club on Friday for 10 ends of bowls in the Friday Frolic social game, which commences at 3pm, with 2.30pm the closing time to enter names.

The club welcomes regular bowlers, visitors and those just wishing to give bowls a try, with bowls available at the club.

All winners receive a small prize as well as each player having the chance to hit the jackpot, which hasn’t been won for a while and is well worth winning.

There is always plenty going on in the clubrooms after the game, with hot food, happy hour drinks and raffle prizes to be won.

The greens are in top condition, with plenty of work being done in preparation for the Swan Hill Bowls 58th annual Autumn/May Carnival, which will begin on Saturday May 4 and run for 10 days.

Friday Frolic is the ideal time to have some practice and enjoy the company of like-minded bowlers in what looks to be perfect weather.

Carnival entries continue to come in, with those interested asked to contact Bill King on 0428 324 083 for details or pick up a program from the club.

Prizemoney is awarded for each event held over the 10 days.
