ONLY one business in Swan Hill offers bra fitting services – Mumma Valley, at Chapman Street Swan Hill.
Owner Belinda Vallance was inspired to learn the service after her own body physically changed through pregnancy.
“It was just a struggle to find clothes that fit,” she explained.
“Even with maternity wear, so I decided that I would train to be able to fit bras, and I did training with Intimo ten years ago.
“It’s a community-driven service at the end of the day, because ill-fitting bras… they’re just painful to wear.”
Ms Vallance said when a bra is fit properly, the wearer should feel as if they’re not even wearing a bra at all.
“I’ve had customers come in who have been nervous about wearing a bra with a wire, but even they can be fitted to be comfortable,” Ms Vallance said.
“Whatever people’s cup or band size I would recommend they come in and get their bra fitted.”
Mumma Valley have been open for two years, and Ms Vallance has been offering fittings for the past six months.
In addition to regular fashion there is maternity wear and plus-size clothing.
