DENISE Massara has worked at Swan Hill Wholesalers for nine years as the company’s sales and accounts manager.
“There’s never a dull moment and no two days are the same,” she said.
With a background in banking and sales, Ms Massara was looking for a full-time role when she accepted the position, allowing her to combine her two strengths.
She said a typical day included taking orders, working on accounts, collaborating with other staff members to fulfil deliveries and ordering stock.
One of the highlights during her time with the company had been moving into their new premises on Karinie Street.
She also enjoyed watching the company’s continued growth as it continued to expand.
“I’ve learnt lots of new skills along the way,” she said.
Although she’s been with the business for almost a decade, Ms Massara conceded she was one of the newer employees.
“That says a lot in itself,” she said.
“We’re all colleagues but we’re also all friends.”
