Marketing advice from three pros

MASTERING the marketing space will be thrashed out at a business event in Swan Hill.

Swan Hill Council and Swan Hill Inc are hosting the Navigating Business event focused on packages and promotions on Wednesday May 15.

Council director of development and planning Michelle Grainger said the three guest speakers had a “wealth of knowledge and experience in the marketing space” and understood the potential opportunities that existed in the local area.

The trio comprises City of Greater Bendigo tourism industry development officer Sarah Blood, Murray Downs Golf & Country Club marketing and promotions officer Shaun O’Bree and Murray Tourism Board chief executive Cameron Sutton.

“Our speakers will share real-life examples, insights and strategies to help small business owners understand the importance and benefits of offering packages and promotions to their customers and clients,” Ms Grainger said.

Complementary canapés and drinks will be served from 6pm and the main event will start at 6.30pm.

“We hope those in attendance will enjoy an evening of networking with other small business owners while learning ways to offer more in their businesses,” Ms Grainger said.

“There will also be an opportunity to pick the brains of our three driven and successful guest speakers.

“It really is a must-attend event for any local small business owner.”

Registered attendees will go into the draw to win two free tickets to Big Laughs With Bev, playing at Swan Hill Town Hall on Friday June 14.

The event will take place at 128 Doors, starting at 6pm.

Registrations are now open.
