Burger special for Dad’s big day

A LOADED burger with all the juicy trimmings will delight dad this Father’s Day at Arc Espresso.

The Swan Hill cafe will have all the regular hearty dishes, but Sunday, September 1, will see the addition of the Big Daddy.

Owner Jake Seears said he liked to think Arc Espresso had the best all-day breakfast menu in town, with high-quality dishes.

“We are running a special for Father’s Day, calling it the Big Daddy – a burger loaded with everything, that comes with chips,” he said.

Mr Seears said he felt the effort of pushing hospitality along in Swan Hill.

“It feels like a lot of other menus are stuck in the mud and don’t change, often rehashing what they have done in the past,” he said.

“We look to really push the bar when it comes to what the menu looks like, changing is seasonally and having a few different things that Swan Hill didn’t have prior.

“We emulate the quality in city cafes into Swan Hill because people see it on social media and when they visit Melbourne.

“I’ve always said to my guys we want to have fun and come to work to achieve something.

“Cafe work can be a bit repetitive at times – cook the egg, cook the bacon and make the coffees – so any chance we get to continually look to progress and change to get better, we look forward to.”

Father’s Day trading is 7am-3pm at 264 Campbell Street, Swan Hill.

Reservations can be made by calling 0428 465 789 or dropping into the store.
