Club is a friendly hub

TOOLEYBUC Sporting Club is your one-stop-shop for dining, sporting and entertainment.

Heading into warmer weather, the club offers a chance for members and visitors to use all the facilities and enjoy some specials in the bistro.

Tooleybuc Fusion and takeaway is located in the Red Gum Bistro and is open seven days.

As the name suggests, dine-in and takeaway options are available and this month chef Aaron Khong has two specials on offer.

“Our specials are always very popular,” he said. “Lamb chops and tom yum have made the list this time.

“Tom yum is a delicious Asian dish served with seafood and fried rice and is just $23.50.

“Our lamb chops are served with chips and veg and the cost is $26.50.

“We are proud of the warm, friendly atmosphere of our venue and welcome everyone to come in and check out our unique menu.”

Asian food covers 65 per cent of the items on the menu, while pub-style meals make up the rest.

The club can also function for functions and events and chef Khong said tailoring food choices was always an option.

“We are able to offer a range of food choices, both on and off the current menu, to cater to your specific event,” he said.

“Whether it is finger food or three-course meals, we are happy to work with patrons to ensure it is the right fit for your party or business event.

“We can also open a function specific buffet with variety to suit your needs.”

Children will be delighted by a night out, especially on Wednesday when kids under 12 eat free.

There is complimentary minigolf and one free kids’ meal for each main meal ordered over both lunch or dinner.

Why not make a a day of it and enjoy many of the facilities the club has to offer including golf, bowls, a flutter in the gaming room and a drink at the bar.

Tooleybuc Sporting Club is located at 1 Lockhart Road, Tooleybuc.
