ANGLICAN

THIS Saturday morning is the Anglican Community Market Place, the transformed Boot Sale.

The market will feature loads of furniture and other items behind Anglicare, and a wide variety of good quality items on sale in the hall.

Stay for morning tea, a sausage sizzle and buy some delicious scones and home cooking.

Private stalls are also in the hall, one of them being Pamela Blackman’s beautiful photographs.

On Sunday after the Swan Hill 9.30am service, the monthly service will be held in the church at Nyah West at 11am.

This service is ecumenical so come along and enjoy the service and fellowship afterwards.

On Monday, our Nyah West Op Shop will close at about 12 noon so that we can thank Carol Sutton for all the time and effort that she has given. At the same time, we would like to thank all the volunteers, including Rieke, who is no longer with us, but was a colourful joyful presence that we all miss.

GRAIN SHED

WHAT a beautiful winter we are having, a cool breeze every now and then and with that last rain, greenery on full display bringing hope for good crops.

Praise God!

This Saturday our Grain Shed Youth are off to Youth Alive in Melbourne where they will gather with thousands of young people to worship, hear the word, and encounter Jesus.

Many thanks to all who have donated to help in subsidising the costs and making this something affordable for all.

We can only imagine how tired they might all be Sunday but look forward to hearing about it all.

Here at the Grain Shed we are a church that love God, love people.

If you are not a regular, we invite you to come along this Sunday, bring your family, or a friend to our service at 10am.

We would love to meet and get to know you.

Our guest speaker Pastor Julie Gall continues in the series from Ephesians.

Our Grain Shed Kids check in desk opens from 9.45am and is a fun place to be.

If you missed Pastor Shayne’s wonderful message ‘You are Included’ – In Jesus, there are no outsiders.

The cross tears down every wall, bringing us together as one family with one Spirit.

You are no longer a stranger – you belong, from Ephesians 2.

Podcasts or previous messages can be accessed via the Grain Shed website.
