SWAN Hill Community Bank is offering Community U grants for local charities, not-for-profit organisations and associations that operate within the district.
Community Bank chairman James Thompson said the board had decided it was more than ever committed to seeing grassroots organisations achieve their goals.
“The initiative was launched at our annual general meeting, as there are plenty of organisations around that we would be able to assist with funding for new facilities and equipment,” Mr Thompson said.
“We have put thousands of dollars out into the community over the years through our grants.”
The Swan Hill Community Bank is part of Bendigo Bank, where those interested in applying can pick up an application form.
Applications close on December 10.
