Balranald helps reunite three-year-old tourist with his penguin

A THREE-YEAR-OLD tourist has been reunited with a toy penguin he left while passing through Balranald, thanks to the kindness of strangers.

Local Jodie Gervasi came to the rescue after little Brooks and his family posted on a local Facebook group, offering a reward to find the sentimental and cuddly friend.

Ms Gervasi not only found Penguin but took him on adventures around the region to send back to the toddler who was missing his best friend.

She also sent a cuddly monkey in the post to keep Penguin company and the pair are now back with Brooks.

Brooks’ father Justin explained that the young boy is over the moon to have Penguin back and is now showing Monkey around his new home.
