Almond Festival in full bloom

ROBINVALE’S iconic Mallee Almond Blossom Festival made a triumphant return on Sunday.

A line-up of entertainment kept visitors busy throughout the day, with the popular almond farm tours once again a hit.

Live music streamed across the grounds of the arts centre, featuring Abba tribute band The Flaming Sambucas, Russell Morris and Jet Charman.

The main hall was filled with about 30 market stalls with offerings ranging of home made candles, jewellery and clothing.

For many it was a family day out, with children fascinated by circus workshops and a motorbike stunt show.

A variety of food stalls provided a tasty lunch for hungry patrons, as they took a moment to sit down and take in the festivities.

This year marked the 13th annual festival.
