Nyah Lions serve up communal Christmas lunch

ON JULY 26 Nyah District Lions Club members provided a cooked lunch for 22 older community members who live alone.

Lions members served a roast lunch and Christmas pudding for Christmas in July.

The room was decorated with Christmas decorations, including a large Christmas tree.

Several competitions and activities were conducted by the Lions members and the winners were justly rewarded.

The oldest member present, Keith Burrage, was invited to cut the Christmas cake.

This event now forms an important part of the Lions Club calendar.
