Free Bee entertainment

TOOLEYBUC Sporting Club is hosting a free show recreating the Bee Gees’ greatest hits on Saturday night.

The Bee Gees Revival is a Melbourne-based tribute act that has been touring Australia to high acclaim.

This is the second in the series of free Tooleybuc Sporting Club shows, following the success of the Abba show, which attracted more than 150 people.

Club chief executive John Cameron encourages people to book a dinner and enjoy the show.

“It’s good that music and entertainment in general is coming back to the country regional areas,” Mr Cameron said.

“That is a really positive thing and we are seeing that reflected in our bar and catering revenues and that suggests that people are hitting the road and coming out and having a nice day in the country and then attending shows and having a nice meal out.

“We know that these shows are attracting customers from half an hour and over away – as far north as Robinvale, as well as Swan Hill and Balranald and people are choosing to stay overnight.

“I encourage the local community to come out and enjoy the quality bands we are bringing to the region.”
