Friday

Noon-2pm: Family Movie Day – Showbiz Cinemas. Join the WWAC for some popcorn and a screening of Despicable Me 4 as we celebrate NAIDOC week – Welcome to all.

6.30pm: Swan Hill NAIDOC Committee Koorioke Night at Federal Hotel. Join us for a rocking karaoke night! Let’s bring your inner superstar and sing your favourite songs. $10 entry. door prizes, finger food provided, drinks at bar prices 18+.

Evening: Live music at the Swan Hill Club, featuring Blackboard Jungle.

7.30pm: Eskimo Joe at Swan Hill Town Hall. Theatre-style seating at the Swan Hill Town Hall. Tickets A Reserve downstairs front rows A-G or upstairs Balcony $57, B Reserve is downstairs rows H-L or upstairs row G and up $47. Tickets available online at swanhilltownhall.com or in person at Swan Hill Town Hall booking office Monday to Friday 10am-4pm or Swan Hill Region Information Centre, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-2pm.


Saturday

Central Murray Football Netball – NAIDOC Round: Tooleybuc-Manangatang v Swan Hill (MNG), Woorinen v NNW United. Koondrook-Barham v Cohuna. Tyntynder v Kerang. Balranald v Lake Boga.

8.30am-12.30pm: Robinvale Country Market held on the second Saturday of the month, with various market stalls, fresh produce, plants, and entertainment. All welcome.

9am-noon: Nyah Lions Club Market held on the second Saturday of the month – various market stalls, Lions’ famous hot doughnuts, wood raffle, plants, produce, honey, bric-a-brac.

10pm-late: Live music at the Commercial Hotel Swan Hill, featuring Jayden Manno, $10 entry 18+ event.


Sunday

10.30am for 11am: Lakeside Golf Club Centenary – 4BBB Stableford 2024, Men’s and ladies’ 4BBB Stableford 2024 – proudly sponsored by Trimax Mowing Systems and Rutherford Street Insurances.

2pm: The July meeting of the Swan Hill Genealogical and Historical Society will be held in the Swan Hill Regional Library (entry by rear door only). Note the change of time and day for the winter months. Guest speaker Leeta Rutherford will talk about Thomas Rutherford, Service No. 5207: finding not just a man. She will also give a brief overview about what she found, after being given just a name and service number of the men who were mentioned on the Piangil cenotaph. All are welcome.


Tuesday

9.30am for 10am: Social Bowls Tuesday at Nyah. Names in by 9.30am for 10am start. $10 per person includes light lunch and good fun for about three hours. Please come along if you can as all levels enjoy the Tuesday events. Remember any sport is good sport.

 


Wednesday

8pm: Old Time Dancing at Murray Downs after the draw.
