Motor heaven for devoted fans

LAKE Boga was bustling on Sunday morning as more than 40 car and motorcycle enthusiasts turned out for the Park and Brag event in Marraboor Street.

Founders of the Park and Brag initiative, Karly Bausch and Kathy Wilde said it was a chance for lovers of all things motorised to share their passion with like-minded people.

Held on the third Sunday of every month, the event draws an impressive array of vehicles to Lake Boga including rare vintage and antique cars alongside newer cars sure to set car buffs’ hearts alight.

The event has been running for 18 months and is a casual gathering at the shopping precinct where visitors can park, brag and admire the vehicles on display.

Street music and lunch at the café or pub is popular with drivers taking time to share tips, advice and the latest changes they have made.

Everyone is welcome and the next event will take place on August 18.
