FRIDAY

6pm: Lake Boga Pub auction night – a fundraiser for the Robertson family. Registrations open 6pm, auction 8pm. A great array of items goes to auction with proceeds going to Kelly and Brent Robertson to assist with the financial hardship associated with Kelly’s illness. All welcome.

Evening: Live music at the Swan Hill Club featuring That Guy.

7pm-9pm: Paint Sip Swap art classes. Come and learn painting with a fun twist. Mocktails, nibbles and all art materials are included in $60 registration. Bookings essential at passionandpurposestudios@gmail.com

7.30pm-9.30pm: Melbourne Comedy Showcase, Swan Hill Town Hall. Featuring Brad Oakes, Lehmo, Dave O’Neil, Bron Lewis and Billy Stiles. Some adult concepts, occasional strong language, suitable 16-plus. Adults $48 seniors, concession or groups of six or more $45. All tickets available at swanhilltownhall.com


SATURDAY

8.30am-12.30pm: Murrabit Market with live entertainment and children’s activities. More than 70 stalls selling fresh produce, local handcrafts, plants, tools, shoes and much more. No dogs allowed.

9am: Swan Hill Field and Game Club – Red Gum Cup 75 Target Graded Off The Gun handicap.

150 Target Overall Graded. Special junior event – 75 Target Handicap (junior and sub-junior combined).

Nomination fees for full event $110 open, $100 pensioners, juniors free. Both days fully catered and camping available. Roast dinner on Saturday night. Details at the club’s Facebook page or visit fieldandgame.com.au

9am: 75 Target Graded off the Gun. 150 Target Overall Graded. Special junior event – 75 Target Handicap (junior and sub-junior combined). Both days fully catered and camping available. Details at fieldandgame.com.au

9am-1pm: Swan Hill Market, managed by We Believe in Unicorns. Join us for a monthly charity event, with a variety of stalls offering unique crafts, gifts and hot food. Enjoy a bacon-and-egg roll, burger or sausage in bread cooked by local community groups. Bring friends and family for a morning of enjoyment and support a great cause.


TUESDAY

9.30am: Nyah Social Bowls for 10am start at Nyah. $10 per person includes light lunch and good fun for about three hours. Players of all levels enjoy social bowls. Any sport is good sport.


AUGUST 9

11am: Community barbecue to raise awareness of homelessness, Coles Swan Hill until 2pm. A chance to mingle and chat and connect with community.
