FRIDAY

7am: Victorian Variety Bash 2024

Victorian Variety Bash: Swan Hill will be the jumping-off point for the 2024 Victorian Variety Bash as costumed and fun-loving participants head off on a journey of more than 2000km over eight days, finishing in Airlie Beach in North Queensland. Riverside Park will be awash with outlandishly decorated cars that must be more than 25 years old to join in fun. Spectators more than welcome.

Friday 7.30pm: The Australian INXS Show, Swan Hill Town Hall. Theatre style seating – adults $65, sen/pen/con $56, under 16 years $45, tickets available online: swanhilltownhall.com.

Friday night: Live Music at the Swan Hill Club featuring “Drowning Sorrows”.


SATURDAY

Lakeside Golf Club Celebrating 100 years

Celebrating 100 years of fun and friendship – Come and join the celebrations.

Special Centenary Dinner $50 from 6.30pm at the Lake Boga Community Centre. Bookings essential.

Saturday all day: Central Murray Football Netball – Round 17.

Saturday 7pm: Swan Hill RSL Club – Themed Buffet Night.

Saturday 7.30pm: Rob Mills performs the songs of Bon Jovi, Swan Hill Town Hall theatre style seating – adults $69.00, sen/pen/con $59.00 students under 18 years $59.00 (warning: Haze & Lighting Effects maybe in use).

SUNDAY

Sunday 9am – 11am: Food & Fibre Market at Tooleybuc.

Showcasing local produce and products. If you have a passion, project, grow produce or make a product we want to have you involved. Fabulous playground for the kids, amazing local produce and products. Everything from organic beetroot flowers and bulbs to honey.

Sunday 9am – 4pm: Nyah District Pony Club Open Gymkhana 2024

We have something special for everyone at this year’s Nyah District Pony Club Open Gymkhana. Junior and senior topsy ring, Pony Club open shoe classes, showing jumping, – novelties and ‘All Ages Fancy Dress’ class.

Sunday 10am – 4pm: Mallee Almond Blossom Festival – Robinvale.

This year the festival is returning and will be bigger than ever.

Held on the grounds of the Robinvale Community Arts Centre over looking the beautiful Murray River, come prepared for a wonderfully relaxing day sampling and purchasing local produce, plus all day entertainment for the whole family. Bus tours, entertainment, speciality stalls, food and drink. Free entry

Sunday Park & Brag – Lake Boga.

In the Main Street of Lake Boga – park up from 11am – just a gathering of like minded people who want to show off their toys! Anything with a rumble – cars, bikes, trucks, tractors, anything with an engine is welcome.


TUESDAY

Tuesday Social Bowls Nyah, names in by 9.30am for 10.00am start.

$10 per person includes light lunch and good fun for about three hours. Please come along if you can as all levels enjoy our Tuesdays. Remember any sport is good sport.


WEDNESDAY

Wednesday 8.30am Murray Downs Golf – Gold Links Day.

Cameron’s Fine Jewellers Gold Links Day – Aggregate Par in Pairs 8.30am assembly shotgun start $20 per person.

Wednesday evening: Old Time Dancing at Murray Downs Country Club after the draw.
