ALCHERINGA Aged Care in Swan Hill was filled with holiday cheer as residents and their families had their annual Christmas party on December 10.
The event featured delicious food and drinks, fun entertainment and plenty of meaningful company.
Organised by staff, the celebration was attended by the Rapid Relief Team which provided a sausage sizzle, pastries, cakes and hot drinks.
The festivities continued throughout the day where Megsie an 18-year-old pony made a surprise appearance.
Dressed head to toe in his Christmas outfit, Megsie stole the spotlight and delighted guests with photo opportunities.
A vintage car display added to the festivities with guests able to get up close and enjoy a touch of automotive history.
The classic cars were a popular talking point among the partygoers and also made for some great photographic memories.
Nursing home staff were pleased with the success of the event.
