Nyah recognises leaders

Byron Lenon – Junior Nyah Citizen Award.

Byron Lenon was recognised for his proactive participation in his school community with the Junior Nyah Citizen Award.

Byron completed his primary school education with Nyah District Primary School in 2024.

He is a much-admired member of the school and community, a very caring student and always helped others.

Byron often did a scope of the yard after school hours to retrieve balls, uniforms or sporting equipment which was left out and returned it to the administration area.

He volunteered his services to set up and pack up breakfast club each Tuesday and Thursday throughout the years, and could often been seen in the yard helping maintenance with any jobs that needed doing in the yard or garden.

In the classroom he was a kind and considerate student, always offering to help his teachers or classmates when they needed it.

He is a well deserving recipient of this award and Nyah District Primary School staff, students and community are very proud of him.
