Freemasons give chances to young people

SWAN Hill Freemason Lodge in conjunction with Freemasons Federation Victoria have donated $5000 to the Chances for Children (CFC) program to support young people in the region to pursue their goals.

Freemasons member James Thompson said the lodge had proudly been supporting the CFC program for more than 10 years.

Chances for Children is a not-for-profit program designed to ensure young people are not disadvantaged due to an absence of money

Through donations, the program aims remove financial barriers that prevent young people in the Mallee region from pursuing their education and personal development.

“In thanking the lodge and FFV, representatives from CFC said the $5000 donation would have a lasting impact on students in our community,” Mr Thompson said.

“It will play a crucial role in helping young people to achieve their goals.”
