FRIDAY

10am – 2pm: School Holiday Activity at the Grain Shed. Families are invited to a FREE day of creativity, connection, and support. Children can explore the world of creative arts, while carers enjoy art therapy and moving meditation sessions. This event is designed especially for families of primary school aged children living with a disability, a chronic medical condition, or additional needs but everyone is welcome. 6pm-9pm: Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery – TWIG. Join the Borders Collective and ACRE Project for a night of firelight, creativity and connection. An evening of music, performance sculptures, projections, good food, conversation and a warm fire on the banks of the Marraboor River. Tickets online via www.trybooking.com. 7.30pm: The April meeting of the Swan Hill Genealogical and Historical Society will be held this Friday night in the Swan Hill Regional Library ( entry by rear door only). Our guest speaker will be Bev Beasy who will speak about her father’s war history (Alan Leslie Hutchins 2/22nd, WWII) and her subsequent research. Alan is still listed as missing, presumed deceased. All are welcome. Everyone is also reminded of the events to be run during Heritage Month including a walk out at Nyah Cemetery, a street walk in Swan Hill and a walk at Swan Hill Cemetery. SATURDAY

7.50am: Lake Boga Foreshore Parkrun, free event every Saturday. Arrive at 7.50am for an 8am start. 5km run, jog, walk, open to all ages and abilities.

8.30am-12.30pm: Robinvale Euston Country Market. Second Saturday of each month held in Robinvale. Food stalls, entertainment, fresh fruit and veg, plants, bric-a-brac and much more.

9am-12pm: Nyah District Lions Club Market. Second Saturday of each month – Various stalls: Famous Lions Club donuts, fruit and veg, plants, produce, honey, bric-a-brac, concrete garden ornaments, CWA stall and wood raffle. Dogs allowed on a leash. Nyah Recreation Reserve, River Street, Nyah.

1pm-1.50pm: Mr Snotbottom at Swan Hill Town Hall. He’s the Prince of Putrid, The Willy Wonka of Weird, he’s Mr Snotbottom. A hilariously deeesgusting kids comedian brimming with all the oooey, gooey, yucky things kids love. Reserved theatre style seating, suitable for kids aged 5+ and families. 3pm-9pm: Murrabit Rodeo at the Murrabit Recreation Reserve. Lots of action including, food stalls, bar facilities, kids activities, mechanical bull, camping areas and outback traders. Tickets online via www.trybooking.com, Adult $35, child (5-16yrs) $15, family (2 adults, 4 children) $100, VIP (18yrs+, includes food and alcohol) $500, jumping castle (unlimited rides) $25. No BYO, must show ID 18+.


SUNDAY

11am: Lake Boga Park & Brag. A gathering of like-minded people who want to show off their toys, cars, bikes, trucks and tractors.

12pm-5pm: Swan Hill Tabletop Gamers Club. Second Sunday of each month. No cost to play, snacks available to purchase. Bring your own card, board or tabletop game or join others. Anglican Church Hall, 46 Splatt Street, Swan Hill.

2pm: Swan Hill Ukulele Group meet at the Swan Hill Club most Sundays.

Various times: Vida Junior Tennis Tournament Swan Hill, four day event at the Swan Hill Tennis Club. The Vida Tennis Tournament Camp will travel to Swan Hill for the 2025 05k J125 GBS North West Swan Hill Open and Junior Tournament. There will be several of the Vida coaches with opportunities to play lots of matches on the grass courts.


APRIL 14

10am-11.30am: Teddy Bear Hospital – Swan Hill Library. Ages 3 +. Bring your teddy and learn about healthy lifestyle behaviours including healthy eating, exercise and good sleep. Run by medical students from Monash University and Charles Sturt University. For details contact the Swan Hill Library.

APRIL 15

10.30am-11.30am: Panda Bear Collage – Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery. Create a panda bear in a bamboo forest having lunch using coloured paper and glue. Suitable for primary school age children $5, bookings essential, please phone 5036 2430.

APRIL 16

10am-2pm: Free Easter Fun – Nyah West. Free Easter fun for families at the Nyah West and District Community Garden. Fun filled activities for all ages, Easter theme story time, pop up play group session, scavenger hunt style egg hunt, lunch provided (sandwiches, fruit cup and water) to express interest in attending please contact – Adele at Mallee Family Care

APRIL 17

10.30am – 11.30am: Easter Rabbit Workshop – Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery. Transform a terracotta pot into an Easter Rabbit with paint, paper, and googly eyes (1 per child). Suitable for primary school age children $5, bookings essential, please phone 5036 2430.

11am-2pm: Inner Wheel Swan Hill Teddy Bear’s Picnic – A magical event, bringing families and communities together. Songs and games. Police safety talk, story time, paint a bear, balloon twisting – teddy bear and friends parade.
