SWAN Hill District Cricket Association has claimed back-to-back Junior Country Week Under 14s titles.

The SHDCA side won through to Thursday’s final against their Northern Districts rivals, with the hosts proving too strong for their southern competitors.

Swan Hill dominated the final match of the week after hitting a total of 130 off 45 overs. 

The SHDCA had Northern Districts reeling at 7/66 from 18 overs, a position the NDCA never recovered from.

The Under 16s competition was dominated yet again by Sunraysia.

With Mallee Murray Bulls Under 14s players joining the squad for a taste of a higher standard, the Sunraysia team claimed its seventh straight victory at Junior Country Week.

With an uneven number of teams, the Under 16s format was a round robin, with Sunraysia the best performed team at the end of the week.
