Swan Hill Darts notes

THIS week the top-of-the-table RSL Have A Goes took on the ladder-climbing Ultima Bullchuckers at the Swan Hill RSL.

The Bullchuckers took the first doubles game to start the night, but the Have A Goes turned it around, winning the three remaining doubles matches.

With the Bullchuckers winning just one of the four singles and the teams, the Have A Goes eventually ended up with a comfortable 6-3 win.

‘Bones’ Field threw his second 180 for the season in what was the shortest game of the night in 17 darts, while Johnson Field threw the equal-best peg for the night with a 2/68.

The Swan Hill Club Blazers took on Let’s Get Pegged at the Swan Hill Club.

Despite the Blazers winning 7-2, it was a much closer night than the scoreline shows, with three of the singles being decided in a third game.

In a low-pegging night where Marc Williams threw an equal-high peg of 2/68, there were two very uncommonly seen pegs by Marc Williams and Hayden Glare that finished with a bullseye.

Out at the Tooleybuc Hotel, the Tooley Tigers took on the RSL Gunners, with the Gunners down one player from the start, so it was always going to be an uphill battle for them.

Despite two of the singles games decided in three games, the Gunners were unable to score a win, with the Tigers taking out the night 9-0.
