STUDENTS at St Mary’s Primary School were treated to a day of fun activities on Monday to celebrate the Assumption of Mary, known as Feast Day.
Joined by St Mary’s Sea Lake students, the fun commenced with Luke Colthup from Kaboom Kid Sports running his much anticipated tabloid sports day, before a special mass in the school gym in the afternoon.
Kaboom Kid Sports’ focus is to deliver a unique tabloid sports experience that caters to all primary school students, no matter what their skill level.
This included a giant four-metre dartboard, Soccer Ghoulies, Rocket Zone, and circus skills.
“We love Luke and his team who always make it a memorable day,” said Principal Kate Quin.
“The event does place a huge focus on teamwork, cooperation and resilience in a fun and fast-paced environment.
“The kids literally do not stop for the entire time they work with Luke, and they love every second of it.”
