Celebrating a year back together

Louisa Frost – Relieving principal

Tooleybuc Central School

THANK you to everyone in Tooleybuc Central School community for their help and support this year.

Schools nationwide faced COVID-related challenges and our border community had the added challenge of flooding, road closures and staffing shortages.

I have been encouraged and proud of the resilience support shown throughout this year.

Our annual presentation evening on Monday was an enjoyable way to reflect on all the great learning and growth that has happened across our school in 2022.

It was also our first in-person presentation evening in three years.

During presentation evening, we welcomed our new school leaders, Zahra Burford and Ella Folley, as school captains and Savannah Caddy and Maya Henson as young leaders.

We are grateful for the return of all the fun events and learning opportunities, including our cross country, athletics sports, swimming sports, swim school, stage camps, careers excursion and NAIDOC Week excursion.

It has been a particular highlight to be able to complete the year face to face, without any COVID disruption.

We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a restful break with your families and look forward to working with you all again next year.
