Thanks to our hard-working teams

WHAT a busy 2022.

I’m not sure if I’m happy or sad to see the end of 2022 as I had looked forward to the new normal but didn’t quite get that with the floods impacting on our schooling.

To our parents and carers, our staff, our community, thank you for all you do to support us as we support your children.

I would like to thank the amazing school council team we have. To Jo Hulland, Kate Everitt, Jane McLean, Brenton Hogan, Misty Males, Deb Quinn, Sangeetha Rajah, Dave Gracia, Corey Frost and Michelle Singleton, thank you for everything you do and the opportunities you all ensure our students get.

To office staff Michelle, Brooke and Jim, we appreciate all you do.

To our teachers, Jaimee, Kylie, Cassie, Kasey, Riley, Emma, Annie,

Jade, Jorgen, Lea, Tilly, Narelle, Bridget, Sean, Virginia and Jess, “thank you” is not enough. You put 110 per cent effort in each day.

We welcome Rylah Sherlock and Natalie Goudie-Troy to the teaching team for next year. We wish Jorgen, Jade and Sean all the best in their adventures and congratulate Annie

Edgerton and Sue Hopkins on wonderful careers and wish them the best in their retirement.

We also welcome Stacey Naudi and Kady Bibby to the ES Team.

To our 2022 ES team – Teina, Brady, Cheryl, Mel, Kala, Sophie, Vonda, Emma, Tasha, Linda, Sue O, Julie, Joel, Zac, Janice and Jess, words don’t seem enough but thanks.

To the HoL team – Jim and Zac and our Community Cafe; Sue H and Sophie, thanks for helping us offer such great programs.

To the cleaning team – Sue, Michael, David and Maria, thanks for all you do.

To our wellbeing-allied health team – Karen, Nikita Hanns and Zac B along with ES support from Julie and Sue, thank you for being you for helping us help our students be the best they can be. To the bus team – Jim, Rod, Zac D. and Mel and the Swan Hill Bus Lines team, thanks for getting us safely to school.

To our leadership team of Dave, Mandy and Corey, thanks for helping me strive every single day to create opportunities.

We thank our school captains Jack Taylor and Breanna Longmuir. We also congratulate the very first Rural Youth Ambassadors from specialist schools, Jack Taylor, Jordan Baker and Lachi Roberts.

Lastly, to the students. I am so proud of what you have achieved. We are an “I can” school where anything is possible.

We wish graduates Breanna Longmuir, Dekklin Naudi, Cade Hogan, Ryan Hulland and Jack Taylor the best for the future.
