NORTH Swan Hill primary school has celebrated 100 days of learning for its Foundation class students.
The 100 days is inclusive of learning time and does not include school holidays and weekends.
Students were encouraged to come dressed as how they would picture themselves as a 100-year-old person, wear a t-shirt or create an art work with 100 things on it.
Foundation teacher, Michelle Simons, said that it is a celebration of 100 days smarter and 100 day brighter.
“Leading up to the day, we have been practicing counting by tens up to 100 and the kids have been loving it,” Ms Simons said.
“Every morning, if we forget to count to 100, they will remind us.
“There will be lots of activities including a morning tea, making crowns and working with their Year 6 buddies.
“We will also be using the Aging Booth app for the children to take a picture and age themselves to 100 years old and then draw their portrait.”
