Celebrating SuniTAFE class of 2024

SUNITAFE Swan Hill Campus celebrated the Class of 2024 at the Swan Hill Town Hall on Monday, March 24.

Graduates from Certificate III through to Diploma courses crossed the stage in front of their families, teachers, and employers to mark the completion of their studies.

SuniTAFE chief executive officer Brett Millington proudly presented each graduate with a certificate to recognise their hard work and dedication during their time at SuniTAFE.

“It is always a proud moment to bear witness to the graduand crossing the stage to collect their certificate,” he said.

“It’s a walk that is supported by hard work and the purpose of wanting to achieve something more, often a driver for their career and life.

“Each student has a story, and we all enjoy being a part of that, but particularly our teachers who have often been the mentor or guide for that journey.”

Across all campuses, more than 300 students graduated from 40 different study areas, with an additional 198 apprentices completing their education during the 2024 academic year.

Swan Hill’s dedicated Apprentices of the Year were also presented during the event.

For the first time, SuniTAFE’s First Year Apprentice of the Year was awarded to two recipients, automotive Electrical Technology apprentice Thomas Cotton and Agricultural Mechanical Technology apprentice Henry Kinsman.

Both apprentices have made a strong start to their careers and are building their skills within local businesses.
