100 days of growth

SWAN Hill Primary School foundation students celebrated on Wednesday as they marked their 100 Days of Prep.

Over 40 students participated in a day filled with numeracy games, crafts, and classroom reflections.

SHPS prep teacher Rachael Sheehan said the children enjoyed the milestone celebration.

“The day was packed full of fun, creativity, and learning,” she said.

“The students dressed up as 100-year-olds and took part in a range of activities focused around the number 100.”

Ms Sheehan said it was a joyful way to reflect on the progress the students had made since the beginning of the school year.

“The children reflected on how much they’ve grown since their first day,” she said.

“Teachers and families joined in the celebrations, recognising their incredible progress.

“From their confidence in the classroom to the friendships and memories they’ve formed.”

Ms Sheehan said the school was proud of what the students have achieved.

“Congratulations to our Prep students on reaching this exciting milestone.”
