Album Review: brent

By Olivia Harvey

FOR me, an enjoyable song is one that is relatable.

My favourite artist, Jeremy Zucker, and his fellow singer/songwriter, Chelsea Cutler, released an EP called ‘brent’ in 2019.

Featuring their most popular song, ‘You Were Good to Me’, it has that relatability factor.

I felt the song had very authentic lyrics, that evoked an emotional response from me, with Zucker exposing his feelings in regards to a relationship.

I connected with the ideas presented in the album, and the meaningful lyrics.

Olivia Harvey is a senior student at Swan Hill College who recently completed her work experience with The Guardian.
