Expressive Arts put on a powerful performance

THE Guardian was treated to a dress rehearsal of Swan Hill’s Expressive Arts Program concert this week, ahead of two Thursday shows yesterday.

The program, sponsored by Swan Hill’s Lions Club, allows those with a disability and a passion for the performing arts to get up on stage.

With singing solos, dance breaks and stunning costumes – the show had it all, as the performers highlighted the best of the last six years of shows.

From a powerful opening with The Greatest Showman’s This is Me, the 21 stars took the audience on a journey through Proud Mary, Flying with the King and True Colours.
