Last chance to see art

HEAD down to The Gallery in Balranald this week for your last chance to see the Bal-Archies exhibition on display.

The fourth annual Bal-Archies Awards was held in October as a part of the Balranald 5 Rivers Outback Festival.

The prize drew more than 120 entrants from all around, with many different mediums and styles of artworks, including Steve Cole’s sculpture of a platypus and a yabby made entirely from cutlery that took home the top prize on the night.

“I totally wasn’t expecting to get the top prize, it was quite a surprise that I got the best of the show,” Mr Cole previously told The Guardian.

The Bal-Archies exhibition will be on display until November 30.

All of the artwork is available for purchase.
