Stars come out at Swan Hill

INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed musical theatre stars Natalie O’Donnell and Simon Gleeson will come together to perform in an intimate setting in Swan Hill later this month.

The pair will delight fans at the Swan Hill Memorial Hall, 47 McCrae Street, on Sunday, July 23 at 2pm.

O’Donnell has appeared in many musical theatre productions both locally and internationally, including playing Donna in Mamma Mia!, Come from Away, Songs For a New World, Next to Normal, The Sunshine Club, Les Miserables, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Jerry’s Girls and Crazy for You.

Helpmann Award winner Gleeson is best known for his acclaimed portrayal of Jean Valjean in Les Misérables.

He is a leading man with credits that span the main stages of Australia and London’s West End.

Stage credits include Jolson, Shout, Mamma Mia Eureka, Chess and Love Never Dies.

He appeared for the Sydney Theatre Company in Harbour and The Republic of Myopia and was a member of the original cast of Rupert for the Melbourne Theatre Company, which he also took on tour to the Kennedy Centre in Washington.

Gleeson’s UK credits include The Far Pavilions (West End), Imagine This (West End), Three Sides and The Silver Lake (Edinburgh Festival).

For their Swan Hill show, they come together to perform classic songs from Rodgers and Hammerstein through to The Greatest Showman, with some Billy Joel thrown in for good measure.

Tickets are $49 for adults, $45 concession for seniors and pensioners, and $34 for children 16 and under.
