Time machine visits town

AN INTERACTIVE dinosaur show that’s on an epic road trip is set to turn the Tooleybuc Sporting Club into a time machine.

Dinomaniacs is described as Australia’s best interactive family dinosaur show.

Performers and dinosaurs sing original songs including Rock & Roar, The Dino Dr and Dance with the Dinosaurs together with some all-time classic songs.

The show, at 11am on Monday, has toured the nation extensively since 2019.

Director and creator Lisa Forde said that it’s “not just a kids’ show”.

“We have dinosaurs for the kids and then there is some adult content so that they can have a bit of a chuckle as well,” Ms Forde said.

“The Dino Doctor has a time-travelling helmet and we travel back through time to meet the dinosaurs.

“Every person that comes to the show receives their own time travelling goggles.

“There will be lots of laughing, lots of roaring, joke telling, singing along and dancing.

“It is an epic experience and out of this world and extremely interactive.

“Although the show is supposed to run for about 45 minutes, we have way too much fun we usually go about an hour.

“We also have pre show entertainment to get the kids engaged and when we come on stage, they really feel comfortable with us.

“It really is almost two hours of full on entertainment and then after the show we have a meet and greet, or for the naughty kids an eat and greet,” she laughs.

Showgoers are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite dinosaur or in your best dino outfit.
