River writer returns

BESTSELLING author Darry Fraser returns to her childhood home in Swan Hill later this month to showcase her latest book.

Swan Hill Council libraries manager Camille Cullinan said Fraser developed a deep love for the Murray River, which serves as the setting for many of her novels, such as Daughter of the Murray and Where the Murray River Runs.

“Although she now resides on the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, Darry is thrilled to return to her childhood town to discuss her books with the community, including her latest standalone novel, The Milliner of Bendigo”, Ms Cullinan said.

The free author talk is at Swan Hill Regional Library on Wednesday, November 29 at 7pm.

Bookings are preferred. Call the library on 5036 2480.
