THE Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery will launch two new exhibitions this month.
Gallery director Ian Tully said he was excited for the showcases, Yarrein Mud Lyric and Yemurraki Art.
“These exhibitions promise a rich display of culture and creativity, featuring diverse talents from various artists,” Mr Tully said.
“Yarrein Mud Lyric, a collaborative effort by Liz Maddy and Verity Oswin, explores text and clay on the Riverine Plains.
“Artists have captured the essence of the pastoral and Riverina landscape they call home.
“Yemurraki Art, presented by Wemba Wemba woman Nikita Moore, reflects her personal journey.
“Moore’s art is reflective of deep connections with herself, her country, family and people.
“As a wurreker, a message carrier, she invites audiences to join her on this visually inspiring path to greater understanding.”
Mr Tully encouraged locals and visitors to explore the exhibitions and join the artists for the official opening on Saturday, February 17 at 2pm.
Attendees will also have the chance to meet the artists.
The exhibitions will open to the public until Sunday, April 14.
