Drake back on stage in Swan Hill tonight

POPULAR local artist Elise Drake is no stranger to Swan Hill and will be performing here again tonight at the Swan Hill Club as a part of the venue’s regular free Friday music night program.

Drake has a unique sound that is best described as Indie rock with a touch of alternative county music.

The singer/songwriter hails from Koondrook and has enjoyed success not just locally but also on the national stage with her sound compared to the likes of Alanis Morissette and Stevie Nicks as well as a bit of Silverchair.

She released her debut EP Waves in 2022, an album recorded remotely in rural Victoria and the US and produced by North Carolina-based producer Jonah Levine.

The show, which gets under way at 8pm, is sure to include a loyal group of local fans that always look forward to her performances when she visits Swan Hill.
