Hail puts the chill in Chillingollah

CHILLINGOLLAH experienced some wild weather last Thursday, with hail pelting down as storms lashed the region.

Local man Bo Delmenico estimated the hail was 33mm deep and said his father Craig had not “seen anything like it in his 56 years”.

Swan Hill Aerodrome recorded 22mm of rain for the first 17 days in October, according to the Bureau of Meteorology, 6.8mm on Thursday.
