A WORKSAFE investigation into the death of an Afghan national who fell from a trailer in Woorinen on January 31 is ongoing.
Police media said last week the 70-year-old man fell from a trailer that was being towed by a tractor along North South Road, near the intersection of Reserve Road, about 12.40pm on Monday.
The vehicle is understood to have been turning when the man fell. He was taken to hospital but later died.

Volunteers at the Swan Hill Uniting Church and from the Swan Hill Community Issues Group operating from the church, continue to support the Afghan community who have been left shaken by this tragic death.
The main Afghan community in Swan Hill are from the persecuted Hazara ethnic minority with most employed in the fruit industry or in abattoirs, according to advocates.
