MURRAY DOWNS LADIES

The thought of a very wet course may have contributed to the fact that only 47 ladies competed in the Stableford Event on Wednesday.

But except for a few bunkers that were brimming with water only a few in play areas were impacted by the 75mls of rain.

Audrey Domaille reduced her handicap by 4 shots after last week’s win but was able to score 38 points from her 43 mark to put together the best score of the day while Kate Lochery (30) 37 points was runner up in B grade.

In A grade, Paula Pickert (17) 34 points won on a count back from Norma Everett (24).

Lynne Lawry, Mary-Anne Davis and Pam Austerberry also scored 34 points to lead the ball pool.

NTP winners were Paula Pickert, Lynne Bishop, Kathy Parkinson and Norma Everett.

Jenice Krahnert (28) led Saturday’s field on 3 up from Sandy Creek GC visitor, Helen Kelly square on a count back from Sarah Clark (22).

Dione Heppell collected the jackpot for her accurate shot on the 11th as Jenny Ford, Gaye Legudi and Mag Kiley were rewarded on the other par 3’s.

Sarah Clark backed up on Sunday on 35 points to win from club pro, Lisa Jean (1) 34 points.
