SIXTY-nine pairs of women teed off in the annual Silver Putter four-ball event at the Murray Downs Golf and Country Club on Wednesday.

Visitors from clubs across South Australia, New South Wales and all over Victoria endured rain and icy winds straight from Antarctic, with a feature of the winners list being that the three major placegetters all held lower level handicaps.
